Description

A system expansion device that can be used with XFP Network Card Fire Panels 1/2 Loop 32 Zones. This device allows the connection of eight XFP repeaters or eight XFP main panels on an RS485 Network (any combination). One AFP711 is required for each Main XFP1/2 Loop 32 Zone Panel that’s networked. The AFP711 IS NOT compatible with XFP 16-Zone Single Loop Panels that require a CFP761 for networking.

XFP Network Card Features:

• Use this to connect 8 XFP panels of any mix over a RS485 two-wire network up to 1KM long.
• Each XFP networked can accept actions from other panels such as silence alarm sounders, control panel resets and fires.
• Other panels can send Disable commands to disable zones, sounders or output sets.
• All panels are checked for any network wiring problems.
• Local panels display the location of faults or fires in remote panels, along with the description.
• Local panels can be programmed to C&E depending on the remote panel that is alarm.
• A PC located at the local panel can program site data to remote panels via the network.
• All panels have the same time and date.
• A network card is required for all main panels that are networked.
• The XFP network cannot contain both XFP main panel and XFP Repeaters.
