Optex Outdoor PIR Detector with Creep Zone SIP-3020/5

Description

The Optex Outdoor PIR detector is a long-range volumetric PIR designed for outdoor use. It can be used in conjunction with CCTV to trigger the camera to move to an area of intrusion. The Redwall SIP sensor is very stable and has a low false alarm rate in an outdoor environment. They are also instrumental to making event-triggered systems more stable. Hardwired SIP-3020/5 model with a 30m by 20m detection area and an extra creep zone (up to 6x9m) is ideal for covering car parks, yards or other large areas.

A trigger for CCTV systems

The REDWALL SIP Series is designed to connect to PTZ cameras or domes and activate the CCTV system when there’s an intrusion. SIP-3020/5 features three detection zones: far, near, and creep zone, each with its own sensitivity setting. This allows the system to trigger pre-sets for the cameras and give the best possible view of the incident.

Vandal and weather resistant

SIP PIRs have been designed for harsh outdoor environments. Their sensitivity is automatically adjusted to ambient temperatures and illumination and the main unit has an IP65 rating. The SIP PIRs are vandal resistant with a polycarbonate enclosure, accelerometer that detects if sensor positions have been altered and active infrared masking.
