The Ajax Curtain Outdoor Jeweller Motion Detector provides precise perimeter protection with minimal risk of false alarms. Utilising a specialised optical system, it can monitor narrow areas up to 12 metres in length with remarkable accuracy. Its dual motion detection technology, combining two PIR sensors with a microwave sensor, ensures that movements from animals or vegetation are filtered out. The Jeweller Motion Detector enclosure features sliders to adjust detection range, sensitivity, and pet immunity, while the Ajax app allows further customisation to suit the unique requirements of any site. With a pre-installed battery delivering up to three years of reliable operation, this device offers a durable and low-maintenance security solution.

Offering two operating modes, Regular and Pet Immunity, the Curtain Outdoor Jeweller Motion Detector is adaptable to different security needs. Regular mode alerts you to any movement within its coverage, whereas Pet Immunity mode ignores animals under 100cm tall to prevent unnecessary alerts. The detection range is flexible, making it suitable for doors, windows, high-traffic walkways, or other critical areas.

Sensitivity can be easily adjusted—low to reduce false alarms, medium for typical settings, and high for unobstructed zones requiring instant detection. Installation is straightforward, with options including SmartBracket, angle mount, or third-party fixtures, and the hood provides protection against rain or snow. Integration is seamless via the Ajax app, allowing remote configuration and pairing by simply scanning the device’s QR code.
