Description

The RS485 module allows two-wire Fire Panel ANSC transmissions between ZX2Se/ZXSe/ZX5Se networked control panels. It can also be used to transmit between ZX2Se/ZXSe/ZX5Se and repeaters, or serial peripheral devices and ZX2Se/ZXSe/ZX5Se panels. The RS485 communication module supports cable/bus distances up to 1,200 meters per channel using twisted-pair shielded cables with a minimum cross-sectional area (24 AWG) of 0.5 mm2.
